I said that I expected that Cardplayer wouldn't mention the 2+2 connection because of the animosity between the two publications and Scott Huff laughed me off and said it wasn't true. Does he not remember when he refered multiple times to a 'internet message board' on the circuit when BK challenged Mike M to a freezout?

Its safe to assume 2+2 is viewed as major competition by Card Player. They do not mention the forums, and most 2+2 product rarely gets mentioned.

with a chip lead going into the final six, schneids' odds to win were probably 2:1. and i'm sure most people on this forum felt that way before the final table happened.

cardplayer has a financial interest in keeping the "top pro" mystique alive, that's all.
