It's incredibly tacky. It's also incredibly fun. It's so over-the-top bad that it's good. A little tongue-in-cheek never hurt anyone. I like it.
The dice that OP mentions are that little touch that sends it all the way around from tacky and back to wildly fun.

I'm all for camp in the right spots, but I feel like I could only crap in room 4 times before getting really violent.
