[ QUOTE ]
Don't berate the fish. [/ QUOTE ] Don't shortstack. DON'T [censored] SLOWROLL. If you are a fish, it still sucks but it's fine, you paid for it. But if you're a pro you're just being an ass on purpose. Raaaahhh. I'm real excited for you that your second pair with a [censored] kicker turned into quads on the river and now you've won a bigass pot. Next time, at least have the goddamn courtesy to show the other card first. If you absolutely must see my hand, freakin ask, don't pretend you were bluffing to make me show. Besides, it's not like it's a big mystery with that board. On the off chance that you're reading this, you know who you are. Bitch. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Just don't bring young children on vacation, to the movies or to nice restaurants. Your 18-month-old is not going to get anything out of a trip to Vegas or a screening of 2001, and the likelihood of him annoying the hell out of people on the plane or in the theater is really high. Stay home or get a [censored] sitter. [/ QUOTE ] You don't bring the kid because you think that the kid is going to get something out of it. You bring the kid because otherwise you can't go. [/ QUOTE ] yeah i'm sure my parents really got a kick out of santa's village [/ QUOTE ] I bet they love having pictures from it though. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I have been brought up in a culture that considers putting the seat back rather rude [/ QUOTE ] what culture is that? why do the seatbacks in that culture recline? [/ QUOTE ] British culture. Unfortunately our seatbacks recline since the planes are American models, I'm guessing most people disagreeing with me here are American? Just brought this up with a couple of my flatmates to make sure I haven't gone insane, they also said it was an extremely rude thing to do, but whatever. [/ QUOTE ] It's a commonly known fact the British are polite to the point of ridiculousness :P But seriously, I wonder about this as well. The only part of the seat in front of you will occupy in the reclined position would be at the very top in front of you, a space you're not using anyway. This has been the case on every plane I can remember being on...and no, I'm not American. |

when you are driving somewhere unfamiliar to you, you don't have the right to drive really slow or cut people off or make illegal turns. Sometimes you have to turn around and go back if you miss your turn.

All,
Lets steer clear of more driving related posts, we could start a thread for all the mistakes we've seen or experienced. |

[ QUOTE ]
Going into or out of a business with double doors keep right. People can enter and leave at the same time rather than all people trying to use one side and then trying to be polite by letting the other people go first, which causes them to say go ahead and a debate ensues over who gets to unclog the door first. It really should not take 5 minutes of confusion to enter or exit when there are double doors. [/ QUOTE ] many business lock the left hand door (looking from the street). very annoying when you try to exit right as you should. never understood that. |

[/ QUOTE ] movies and nice restaurants, i agree. airplanes are totally different. tough luck and you shouldn't complain about it. they're getting hauled to see grandma most of the time anyway, and the parents hate it more than you do. Southwest used to have it right: they let the kids board first, so nobody sat next to them unless they liked kids. |

[ QUOTE ]
Get off your cellphone [/ QUOTE ] needs no qualifier. people are using their cell phones while doing pretty much everything in their daily lives. It is soooo common at this point to see a mom with her baby son, who she should be like, paying attention to since that is quite important to the childs development, but instead she will be talking to her friend on her cellphone for hours. Any grocery store/mall this seems to be the norm. Also whenever I am driving home and someone is driving like a retard (35 in the fast lane) theyre usually on their cellphone, anytime I am in a store and someone is standing obliviously in the middle of an aisle, theyre on their phone. It is just incredibly frustrating and needs to end soon. |
