i had an ACTUAL female girl look at the photo.

your clothes are fine. glasses need to go, hair needs work. Possibly better footwear.

ok but we already discussed the fact that alot of girls dont know [censored] about mens clothing and following their advice can be a big mistake. Honestly, I cant pick out girls clothes well and I dont expect them to pick out mine well either.

Really? I would take a woman's opinion on my clothing over a straight guy's any day.

oh yeah, as would I. Im just assuming people giving advice in this thread arent a collection of random guys but people who know about or have good taste in fashion. So in that sense id expect them to have better taste than a random girl. hope thats clearer.

Brands / Stores to check out

1. Nordstroms (check out their website and look at the different brands; they have some very nice stuff)
2. Penguin Clothing
3. American Eagle (jeans only...rest of their clothes suck)
4. Polo
5. North Face (very nice jackets)

Are you serious? I don't even think Penguin was around in 1999. Could you please tell me more current brands you like?

I dont think its so much a particular brand. Many brads can have [censored] ugly clothes but then have one or two nice pieces. its really about having an eye for whats good and I feel that its more important to develop that eye than buy one or two pieces recommended on a website. Teach a man to fish blah blah..

Yea I agree. I like AE jeans because they fit me very well. I own more high-end brands like Lucky and don't like them as much due to the fit. Jeans are a little different from other types of clothing in that you can't really differentiate them with a design without them ending up looking ridiculous. Just look at True Religion jeans, which are very expensive and a lot of the time very stupid.

Although I'm not as up-to-date on the metrosexual clothing rankings as steel108 is, I think I'm somewhat current.

Shoes can't be stressed enough. Look over the old shoe threads to see opinions. Random T-Shirts is fine, just mix in some baller shirts (can be T or faux-athletic) periodically if you need to look presentable.
