iv done this as well when I was HU w/ about a 4:1 chip lead. I just felt like being a nice guy.

If I was HU and it was a 1:1 tie, I'd never do this. Even 2:1 I prolly dont do this.

To infer as to the amount of class an individual may or may not possess based solely his or her proclivity to raise a disconnected player when prompted to do so is [censored] ridiculous.

oh, and anyone who claims that they would drain their timebank for some other schmuck with a shoddy connection is either lying or delusional.

I did this when I 1st started playing, but they were in SNGs, I always felt bad. I dont know what I would do now, 2+ years later, but I think I would still do the same, it would just make me feel so grimy. I think a few more people than you think would do this...what a cynical outlook. It might not be many, but some.

This is really really good.

I'm impressed with Goggles doing that.
I guess I've never stopped to consider time bank implications of someone disconning. I certainly know I'd take max time on all decisions trying to get him back- but the timebank issue is another step I really hadn't considered.

I know I wouldnt be rushing to pillage the blinds. And I hope there would be times where it was a no brainer to drain it heads up because there are less factors to consider for any future given hand.
I guess I'd probably email support asking for a tourney pause until he got back (within reason) if that was allowed.

Well done Goggles.

But if it happened to me, and my best friend was on the other end, I would not fault him at all for rapid stealing.
