I wasn't watching at the time but I think Lechler just decided to take off on his own thinking he could get a first down from what Enberg was saying.

Looked like it was a good fake if the dude running off to the left turns around to catch the ball. It looks like the punter is trying to go to him, he keeps running and punter gets crunked.

Looked like the guy who was supposed to catch the pass didn't turn around(on the punt) and the punter had to eat the ball.
