I got owned live. Hardcore.
I don't even wanna write a TR, but I was up 350-400 after Friday night and on top of the world obv.. then Saturday comes. Raise KK to 12, guy calls, flop QT2, he bets 20 into 25, I raise to 70 - we're around 500 deep at 200max, turn Q and we check turn and river and he proudly flips his KQ. An orbit later, I raise 99 to 12, fish that has donated $1k in 2 hours calls, same guy from above raises to 40, I call because I'm still like 430-440 deep, fish calls. Flop QT9, I check - fish leads 35, guy calls, I pop to 100 I think, fish is allin after that bet, other guy calls. I lead 150 on turn, reg folds KK face-up. River Q and the fish's Q9 is good. So I rack up because live poker is rigged, come back later, call a raise with A6h in bb because there's 3 callers already, flop Q92hhh, I check/call a bet from the same guy above (he hates me I think), and river is an ugly 3h [I didn't think he was that strong and I wanted to appear on a draw], so we check/check turn. River is Jh, I bet 35, he raises to 120, I pretty much wanna suicide because I know he has T8h, I even asked him, and so I call because I'm a fish and he flips T8h. For the tl;dr cliffnotes guys: 2 outer, followed by 2 outer, followed by 1 outer and all of a sudden my good weekend at Turning Stone turns into a -$500 weekend. /wrists [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] |
