I wonder if Mulvy could possibly be on the major league roster. Plus thier first pick this year was a reliever he could make it through the system rather quick, and what about that AA closer that was the MVP of the team? They could possibly improve the bullpen.

Question: is there some kind of baseball code whereby the Marlins will forever be on the Mets shyte list for not rolling over? Like will the Mets pitchers be expected to plunk early and often against the Marlins next year?

Mets&Fins,
I say Willie, Omar, and our boy Ricky(Peterson). Willie so we can bring in Joe Girardi, Omar so Steve Phillips can come back, and Peterson so we can get Tom Seaver. Boris, The Marlins love beating the Mets and have done so the past few years. Also, the fight yesterday kind of made it personal today vs the Mets and I'm sure the Marlins felt very satisfied after today. I doubt the Mets will take it personally that the Marlins played hard, it shouldn't have come down to the last game. |

dunno why so many of you think rick peterson needs to be fired, he didnt make the decisions of who to bring in for releif and when. also the job he did with maine and perez was very good

But I also look at the way Joba was brought along across town and I wonder why Humber wasn't brought along the same way. Also, the way the bullpen was the last month I put alot of blame into Rick for that. I can't help but think of that Braves game where Wright was robbed of that home run...damn. That game seems enormous now. Some reason it's all I thought about whenever the Mets were brought up today. |
