Heard that might have been the final episode of the series. Makes sense because it seemed like significant time had developed between the end of last season. Such as the house Carmella was building, the Japenesse restaurant which had became their favorite with out any mention of it previously. Tony's sister's baby, New York boss already in prison, and no mention of Paulie.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thats becasue its been over a year and a half since the end of the last season.

I laughed out loud when Tony looked at his cellphone on the boat, and whatever it was - Cingular, Motorola - was blatantly there. It says a lot about product placement that I can't even remember what brand of cell he was using.

In real time not necessiarly series time. Doesnt make not sense for the show to make the big of a jump in time elapsed.

Chase said the show was going to pick up in real time.

For example, Janice said her baby is 15 months. Add is a nine month pregnancy and you have a two year period. Assume she became pregnant at the tail end of season five and it all works out.

My bold prediction for the show...

After seeing Carm's reaction to Pussy's wife saying "I bought it myself" I think Carm will wind up taking a more active role in the running of the business with Tony being "injured." By the end of the show she is the new boss after a bloody mafia war in which Tony and the acting boss over on the New York (I don't remember the guy's name right now, who ever is running things for Johnny) side are dead and Johnny Sak is put away for a long long time...

Final scene will be a guy at FBI HQ moving Tony's picture out of the way and placing Carmella's picture at the top...

Funniest line:

Older guy: "Some guys pulled up in a Lexus and jumped us"

Christopher: "You mean chinks did this?"

[/ QUOTE ]

Disagree. Funniest line:

Tony: Where you been?
Agent Harris: Pakistan.
Christopher: You look like you lost some weight
vito - atkins right?
Agent Harris: Caught a parasite over there. Doctors dont know what it is.

[/ QUOTE ]

not to be a dick but both of these were screwed up. The first one is funny because it was preceded with "so we were in chinatown", without that wtf how is it funny at all? hah.

The 2nd one is funny because of the vito line and how he's a big weight loss knowitall.

-Paulie was in a few scenes (specifically, the scene at Vesuvio)
-Johnny Sack isn't in prison yet, he is in jail awaiting trial.
-How long do you think it takes for someone to find a new Japanese restaurant?? (your point there holds zero water)
-A house can certainly be built to a frame in a matter of weeks, so I don't know what you're getting at there...

I personally don't think there is any solid evidence that this was the last episode shown first. If it was, then it may be the WORST move in television history as there will be no surprises left for the rest of the season. Everybody who mattered was present and accounted for, so who would die or get sent to prison? No way this is the case. Just another internet rumor...

Also funny - Vito munching on the weiner.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wasn't that a bread stick?

[/ QUOTE ]

Good question... he is on the Atkins diet, so it couldn't have been a breadstick. Notice he asked for some hot water in the hospital, nice detail HBO!

TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

[/ QUOTE ]

I missed the Atkins diet part, so weiner it is, which nicely dovetails with Vito's taste for man sausage.

And as someone already mentioned, the best line was "The circle-jerk of life".
