Ok, thanks, Sam. I just tried out 2.09, and I'm having the same problem where I can only log into 4 tables. Should I send a copy of the log in a PM to one of you guys?

roland,

you are right on the mark.
i was running an earlier version but am now installing the latest. thanks for the heads up---you guys are so active on this thing, which is amazing, it is hard to keep up with you two.

cheers and thanks,
sean

edit: one question i had was regardin the auto-login function---is it still a part of iWitness (it hasn't been in the last couple guis)? i seem to think that it is but i can't figure out where to input my password.

[/ QUOTE ]Alas, Roland's effort has put mine to shame over the last few days. I'm trying to do some work ("work work", not "iWitness work"), but Roland's in full-time support mode.

He just went to bed, so I'm on Support Duty for a few hours. Time to read some logs!

I am running 2K3 and when I launch Iwitness and click "Go" it launches party, navigates to the NL Holdem Group, then minimizes party. Nothing else occurse after that.

I have only 1 group created (NL .10/.25 8 Players)

Any thoughts?

[/ QUOTE ]First, make sure you're running the latest version (2.09). There were some recent NL fixes.

If the problem persists, load iWitness, make sure "logging" is turned on in the system-tray options, and recreate the error. Then PM me the logs.txt file in the iWitness folder.

Thanks.

Default suggestion

You've probably already had this suggested, but if not is it possible to add to the program so that it only witnesses tables whose average pot is > or = a specified dollar amount? There are some $5-10, 6 max tables (which are full) I have opened whose average pot is around $30. Instead of witnessing those I'd rather pull data from the 3-6 or 10-20 games w/ the highest average pots.

You're right, it's no longer part of the Gui - you can find it in the tray menu now.
I think there is some confusion though as to what it does, so let me explain:
It doesn't save your password; that would be crazy. Thus, there is no reason to ever enter your password anywhere (except in the PP Login screen). All it does is it clicks "okay" on that screen if you have Auto-Login on, or wait for you to click "okay" if you have Auto-login off (i.e. it waits until the Login window closes).
To make this work, you will also have to select on which account(s) you'd like to log in (Tray menu -> Login on... -> ...). This was done solely for the benefit of people who have lot's of brothers and sisters and old friends who all have Party accounts. The first (windows) account the script ever encounters will be checked by default, the rest is up to you.
Also note that even if you turn the Auto-Login feature off, the script will still click "Cancel" on the Login-screen if it sees that you don't want to login on this account.

What's that?

The most likely explaination is that it just couldn't find a table that fits your group. If this is not the case, please send a log.
