This is just amazing. Hopefully Lloyd Carr will retire immediately. I've been hating Lloyd Carr for many year, but even I never thought it would get this bad. Michigan is becoming a running joke. Even Jay Leno did a Michigan joke on the Tonight Show last week. One of my biggest fears now is that this is going to kill recruiting. We have a lot of early commitments. I am afraid some might have second thoughts.

Hopefully some of them come to Illinois

carr just basically blamed everyone but himself headed into the locker room...

'the offense isn't helping'...uhh? hart???

i don't remember saying this, and truly believing it, but he needs to resign. normally i'd say wait until the end of the season, keep things 'normal', but this can't continue..

smiling on the way into the locker room, joking with the reporter, DOWN 32 TO [censored] 7!!

I feel so sorry for Mike Hart. The guy is all heart. He plays hard and plays great on every snap. He is one of the greatest Michigan players ever. He shouldn't have to suffer for everybody else's total incompetence.

qft...and any heisman chance is out the window with a terrible team.

Mike Hart should just sit out the rest of the season, no reason to put his NFL career at risk for these no heart scrubs.

Henne is really overrated. He is not a good qb at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've always been a big Henne fan. But honesty forces me to say that he has totally sucked this year. In fairness, coaching is partly responsible. Our pass patterns and overall offensive schemes are so bad, that he is playing with a hand tied behind his back. In addition, he hasn't had any pass protection this year.

I was just looking at the halftime stats. Oregon has 390 yards of offense in the first half. 390 in a half. I remember the old days when I would be outraged if a team gained 390 in an entire game against UM.

He's definitely not overrated by the 100,000 or so folks who just booed the [censored] out of him.

I'm pretty sure he'll be called into the AD's office and he'll be given the option to resign as coach or have them fire him.

32-7 at half against Oregon?! This team was supposed to be a top 5 team.

And definitely +EV for Lloyd Carr to shift the blame onto his team for a crappy first half performance.
