My friends and I are starting a dynasty league. None of us know a good free host for something like that where roster carryover from year to year is possible. We're afraid we'll have to resort to some antiquated method involving Excel or something called "paper and pen"---we'd really like to avoid this. Does anyone have any tips for good hosts for a league like this?

It's possible on ESPN. My league page stays the same every team and history is always included. You can choose to either keep the rosters or to re-start every year. I personally am not in a Dynasty league on there but I know that you can use it for dynasty leagues since all leagues are basically permanently kept.

On yahoo you can look back at previous years' teams. That would probably be good enough to run a keeper league.

Hanster,

God 8 team leagues yield such strong teams. Not a fan.

Oh and team #1 looks superior in my estimation. QB's seem to be a wash (though I prefer Mcnabb(5) to Bulger(6)). Both Smith AND Roy are better then all of other teams WR's. I like Mcgahee this year and LJ is a monster (even if people are down on KC this year). Gore has had only one good year and Westbrook has yet to play a full healthy season. Gates at TE = better then all the rest by a lot. Who cares about K and DEF but even those are slightly higher on my board on team #1.

Obviously team #2 has greater depth at RB (which I usually am partial to) but team #1 starting lineup outways the strength of the RB bench of team #2.

I think Deuce will be fine as a #2 back. There's no reason to think he'll put up significantly different numbers to last year, and getting 1000 yards and 10-12 tds from the 2 back when 1 is LDT is fine.

I agree that I need a 3rd RB, there was a [censored] up with my draft where it froze and then when it unfroze I woud up with rivers and hass as my 6/7 picks, that 7 should have been Chester Taylor. So I'm looking to move hass anyway possible for a 3 back

[/ QUOTE ]
I would be tempted to try to move one of your very, very good WR's for a good 3-back.

LJ will still have a top 10 fantasy year, but man are the Chiefs gonna suck. I'm glad he's holding out for more money, it's my contention that Herm Edwards is trying to end his career early, so he better get the money while he can still walk

Jack,

I HATE MJD as a mid 2nd and BALT as a 7th, therefore I do not like your teams. I would take team 2, but don't expect to get Owens that late in a $$$ league.
