[ QUOTE ] Robben agrees terms with Real http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ea/6904044.stm [/ QUOTE ] Wow, even though he's played for chelski I really like the way he plays. Except the fact that he dives. But he's a great wide player who causes alot of trouble with his pace and skill on the ball [/ QUOTE ] He has also had injury problems which makes him a big unknown, and he's also been pretty surly about his role at Chelsea. He is a fine player though, and will really help Madrid on the wing (he's certainly better than Beckham or Reyes in that role, and Robinho is best as an out and out stiker). |

While Robben is a good player, I'm not terribly upset about it. My main bother is that he's young which means that he has time to develop with them and become a top player in their system. That's a lot better for Real Madrid than buying good 30 year olds who have to adjust and aren't used to the way things are there.
In some sense I'm pleased because it means that there should be less pressure on Sevilla with Alves and Jesus Navas. Hopefully they can keep this group together for at least another couple years and even greater things can come our way. |
