Yang understands pot odds about as much as the English language...and yes he could have been folded out on that flop with a little acting like I said earlier

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL maybe he would've gone in the tank for 5 minutes but called anyways

khan had 9 million starting the hand right ? he raised to 6 million ? Why wouldn't he go all in in the dark, should he wait for the flop to push to gain any fold equity from yang ? No way u should fold to any flop yourself so is there really any FE if u push the flop? What am I missing here.

[/ QUOTE ]

you're not missing anything:

- he should have just went all in preflop
- since he didn't, he's not folding any flop
- going all in in the dark vs. waiting for the flop to shove makes no difference in terms of EV, FE, anything

[/ QUOTE ]

So why is everyone screaming terrible play all in in the dark.

[/ QUOTE ]

I dunno, they're communists?

yeah but theres absolutley nooooo point not just shoving preflop. whether yang is the best or worst player in the world the bet size makes zero difference because of the stack sizes. hes not gna fold a hand thatd call an all in, just by making a "clever" smaller bet repping a monster.

it was. versus yang the donk if he paused to "think" before going all-in on the flop i truly believe his FE would not be 0%.

Instead of moving allin in the dark...

SCREAM your ass off and jump out of your chair...then realize you didn't know you were allin. Quietly sit back down and raise allin. You have a chance to fold out that donkey if he honestly thought about folding JJ preflop.

[/ QUOTE ]

You don't think there is even a slight chance he would fold here? ...even if its less than 1% that is better than a dark push if you didnt go allin preflop
