Clearly, Scandinavian players are THE BEST UNLIMITED HOLD'EM POKER PLAYERS IN THE WORLD! With a total population of 19 million compared to Vietnam's 85 million and 4 players among the final 36, I think it's pretty safe to say that Scandi's are approximately 4,5 times as good as Vietnamese players (85 / 19). IT'S STATISTICAL FACT!
(PS! Just kidding. Don't ban.) |

are the updates on websites really that pathetic? there are only like 24 people left... whats the deal? maybe they should let Rain Khan do the updates while playing. I hear he's quite the multi-tasker. [/ QUOTE ] Oh you didn't hear? He actually *is* doing all the updates. That, and he's given Tiffany the rest of the tourney off by conducting all of the exit interviews, too. He's also running several cameras for ESPN, and giving the TD some help with the floor decisions. All that while playing seventyleven simultaneous SnGs on Ladbrokes between hands. |

I don't want to derail the thread, but it appears to me that Scandinavian players play a lot tighter and don't go all-in every single friggin' hand in the late stages of the tournament like most American players like to do. EDIT: No Finnish players left this year, though. Boooo. EDIT2: But still two Danes left, right? Hilm and Madsen? Wow, with Hansen's deep run, maybe Denmark can lay claim to best unlimited hold them players in the world. Anyway, back on track. . .FWIW, my buddy had Kenny Tran down below 4,000 chips on Day 1 after making a few sick calls that I assume we'll see on TV if Tran makes the FT. I talked to him last night and he thought it was just sickening that Tran is still alive after being almost felted on the first day. |

[/ QUOTE ] Oh, I don't know about that. A lot of the best Scandinavian players have very laggy playing styles. Johnny Lodden being an extreme example of that. Oh, and Philip Hilm. Just wait for him to blow up big time. He's gotten quite a bit of TV time from going deep in two EPT tourneys, and both times he blew up horrendously with insane bluffs and playing waaay too many hands. |
