Why do you all insist on trying to play there when you know the site is currently messed up. How many people need to report that they're missing money from tables or that their sng froze. Play somewhere else.

This couldn't be more true. THere are dozen's of sites out there Play a different one until then. Look they have probably 10,000 emails from players. I would deposit money in a different site and play there if you HAVE TO PLAY so bad.

Because I gave them a week after they sent me the "upgrade" note and then went in and started playing cash games. There was no warning of anything amisss and no follow up e-mails suggesting that I may have a problem or two. After the tables froze and the waiting list went down I came here to find out that there is indeed a problem and that it wasn't my imagination or computer. But to have to go to 2+2 to find out that the online room where I've been playing for years has a major software fault sucks camel balls. And you are right, I wont play there until it works again. In the meantime, the IT people at UB should be grateful that their owners don't own guns. Or maybe I'm wrong and justice has been served.

I'd have to disagree ... just logged on to UB and found that I still had money in play when I wasn't playing.

hello everyone - I haven't been there since their 'upgrade' so am unfamiliar with all the troubles they are having.

I do know that I was one of 200 or so players that they invited to test their new 'beta' version a couple months ago (which I'm guessing this is).

I was going to take them up on the test, but when I got there I realized that the beta was ONLY the 200 people they had invited...you weren't accessing the 'regular' tables through their beta client or anything.

They only had .25/.50 games or something like that going and their little gift to try their beta wasn't worth it for me to play that low.

Just thought some would be interested to know that they DID beta their upgrade (assuming this is the same one...I don't know). But I never filled out any of their surveys on it because I just wasn't interested in playing .25/.50

It will rank right up there with the most moronic technology decisions in the history of internet poker. The software is now the crappiest junk that I have seen since my 9-year-old niece wrote a flying pig cartoon program using BASIC. To call it garbage would be an insult to the waste disposal industry. If you lined up all of the software programmers at Ultimatebet and asked them to lay their degrees end-to-end, you couldn't cover a matchbook. There's a chance that someone associated with this upgrade has an IQ larger than 74, but it's a longshot bet, likely 80:1 or better. Just doing the math on the cash that they have stacked in a dumpster and ignited is astounding. The suckage is immeasureable. And to ignore all of their customers for weeks...that takes even more stupidity. Now we have to suspect rampant solvent sniffing at UB, or speculate that it's really run by stray dogs being herded by a cat.

Possibly my favorite 2+2 post ever! The only thing you missed was that with all the flak Party took with their new software release, UB (among others) had a golden opportunity to increase market-share. It takes some real corporate brain-power to time such a major screw-up so well!

I have no cash on there, but it locked up on me too. They sent a system wide email about their upgrades and downtime.

Truthfully, I don't even see an upgrade. I just see shiny new buttons. What is so better about it?
