Once in a while I will just start rambling about complete nonsense while playing but pretty much never about anything actually poker related because that would bring me down to the level of my subhuman opposition. The rest of the time I just sit there quietly wondering how long it is going to take me to win all of everyone's money.

On a side note, reading when you can barely keep your eyes open is really tough. I started reading 7CSFAP after my sessions at Commerce and have been trying to read more of it right now while watching Family Guy. My desire to be good at more games has been increasing again which means continuing the never ending struggle to become a winning Omaha 8 player and playing some Stud Hi to find out if I have any clue or not. Playing Stud Hi to see if I know how to play has proved harder than expected because I refuse to play 30, all the 10/20 games are like nitfests and I get offended that everyone is playing so tight and quit, and if I sit at 5/10 I usually just plain get bored after a few hands because I would rather devote my attention to a Stud 8 game or perhaps watch the clouds outside.

Anyone watch the No-Limit / Limit Mixed event on ESPN? It was nice to see some Limit Hold Them on tv, but most of the players played the limit portion quite badly. Not only that but Norman Chad comments are 100% useless and annoying... "In Limit Hold'em you cannot win as many chips as No Limit"

I was right, I sat down in my live limit game again tonight

first hand: everybody folded to the bb

second hand: all 8 players went to the flop for 4 bets each, I flopped a set fives, dude turned his gut shot straight, I paid through the nose to see the river not pair and I'm off to a good start

an hour later I'm down ~20bb, losing every hand

I get back to even pretty quick though, go up and down a bit until everybody gets up and leaves, I can convince a fish to play me HU, run over him the first 15 minutes and make some profit, then right after he starts to play back at me bc he realises I don't have the nuts every hand I flop a straight, obv fish flops the nut straight and luckily he doesn't charge me max, but that was a big one, then he flops a set and I lose another big pot, and right after that he gets up and leaves... %#!~

I'm frustrated out of my mind bc there's nobody I can play, my only choices are 3-6 fixed limit, which obv is not an option, and 1-2 no limit, which isn't an option either, but it sure as hell beats 3-6 limit

I can only buy in for 300, but stackadonk some lagtard the 2nd hand I play, which is the only hand I won before the table broke up, but it made me break even for the night so that's ok

cnsrd this fn limit though, I continuously pounce the fish in the no limit games, but I know I'm a better fixed limit player, why the f can I not make teh monies?

Norman Chad is such a freakin' idiot.

Watching some of those guys play limit was so painful. You could tell Mueller could play, but that guy calling on the river with AT on a board of K-J-J-9-x made me cringe so bad... I was like, wtf? He's hoping villain has A8?
