I just folded 99 preflop after an UTG raise in a 5 handed 15 game on Stars. I had 200 hands on the guy yet I hadn't even noticed him before with his 18/9 stats. I hope that he wasn't some guy I had randomly played a full ring game with before and I made a bad fold from misinterpreting his meowchow.

I'm 3 for 3 on winning live sessions this month and I'm not kidding when I say that I played like horse dick in all three, my confidence is so fn low that it's effecting my play in a very bad way

made a couple horrendous lay downs in big pots with the best hand and missed some stupid easy value bets

finally I'm hitting some of my hands and then I go ruin it all by playing like crap

next session I'm gonna keep telling myself to take some tame to think before acting, bc I'm always kicking myself afterwards for acting too quick

session tonight was pleasurable, it was short handed all night, which is hella fun against loose passive opponents

played pretty good all evening, but made 1 [censored] mistake at the end, which costed me a big pot, still kicking myself for not thinking before acting, bc it was a pretty standard situation, and I missed 1 kinda easy value bet as well

I'm hoping that the 25-50 will open tomorrow, that' be sweet

brag: out of the blue an acquaintance called me up and asked if they could buy my action for the '08 wsop main event with a 50% split on profit if he puts up entry... (still sounds tentative - too strange of situation not to be, but 50% likely for free buy-in not bad...)

Uhh, no content thread and all but this strikes me as terrible. Fold AQo fine but 99 is a PAIR already.

Pretty sure you shouldn't fold either of them (99 or AQo). Any reasonable range has you with 47%+ equity for both.

I assumed a 9% pfr range was like AQs/AKo/TT+. To be honest I don't really care because it's not like you run into that sort of player too often and my hair is already grey enough from playing spazzes, I don't need to put myself into a tough situation against the kind of player I shouldn't be in tough situations with.

Also just got back from a fun 40 session with Mike L, Crazy Mike and other random people that decided they'd take a shot at Crazy Mike's money. Naturally that meant they all went broke and left while Crazy Mike won. I managed to 1 out Mike L in a pretty big pot as payback for the ten billion 2 outters he has given me. I would have won infinite dollars but Crazy Mike continues to hit 2 pair or better against me like 90% of the hands where I flop top pair.

I raise AK UTG Bellagio 30 game. 3-bettor, 3 callers, I 4-bet all call.

Flop J-4-4r, I bet, all call.
Turn 5 flush draw possible. I bet, 3-bettor and one other call.
River non-flush A. I check, 3-bettor bets, fold, I checkraise. 3-bettor calls.

I roll my AK assuming it's good, 3-bettor rolls JJ for Jacks full.

PSA: The 15-30 game appears to be back at Commerce. I'm told it has gone every day for the past week.

Only one table, though, and it is playing tighter than the 9 or 20

Pretty standard in that game. Last time I was there I had several set over set and other coolers where I should have lost 2bbs or more but only lost the minimum, bc my opponent didnt have the nuts.
