This is so cool - doing this on the weekend for sure - so what is the best way to adhere to the wall?

Poster putty (that stretchy tack stuff) works pretty good. I have the Boondock Saints image up and it looks pretty good. It's amazing how when you're up close it doesn't look that good but as you move back it looks awesome. I thought it wasn't going to turn out well because of the black gun against a black backdrop of their coats, but it worked. That Darth Vader helmet would probably look pretty cool too.

alright, so i'm gonna write a full trip report about this, but this is tonight's quick update.

kinko's kicks ass, and i managed to get my rasterized photo printed onto card stock (i paid $12 for 250 pages of it) for $8. so for $20 total i have my entire 10x10 set of pages on high quality card stock. i thought their printers could print the full page; apparently the best they can do is 1/8th of an inch away. i had left instructions to print on the entire page, so the kid called me - i'd asked them to if anything didn't make sense. the kid offers to print it with the 1/8" margin, and then chop off the excess with his high speed, low drag paper cutter.

all this service for $8? i was impressed. i had to wait for some stupid bitch to put her print order in - at midnight - before i could pick itup, but whatever.

im using double sided tape, and the process is quite tedious. peeling the backing off is time consuming.

i've been going at this on and off for almost two and a half hours, and i'm 40% done. its too boring to do all at once... but its gonna be worth every second of it.

as discussed earlier, my original:

at fifteen pages up:

at forty pages up (where i stopped for the night):

tomorrow i'll finish this and write up an entire trip report, but for now, this'll have to do. its bedtime.

I hurried it a little so it's crooked, but I think it looks good. 3mm dots otherwise you can't see the text and in color.

Is there a logistical reason you're leaving space between each page? I thought all the samples I saw where the pages were flush looked much better than those with gaps.
