Thats also why Andy and Howard showed up so late, no need to amass chips when your strategy is to buyin for the max. Sam Grizzle is much better at 2-7 than most people give him credit for, and he is a feared HU player in this game. Howard Lederer is one of the founding fathers of 2-7 Triple Draw, without his help the game may not be as big (is it big?) as it is today. Yuck, your table sucked!

Until Howard and Andrew showed up it was a dream. The play was fast and loose, which I was hoping for so I could accumulate chips.

I think TDL is getting bigger. Everyone I have known who played it fell in love with it. Unfortunately it's a six handed game so it will never be a moneymaker for casinos.
