soooo my friend convinced me to play in the 3$ rebuy today. I was just dicking around but then I actually luckboxed my way into a stack early on, and maintained a chiplead through the entire tournament. With 5k$ to first, I felt i should actually try since I had a shot at it.
With 23 players left I was 2nd in chips when this hand came up:
I raise KQo from hijack, drooler in BB coldcalls for 1/3 his stack. LDO a stop and go, right? Nope he checks the flop, which comes Q-high. He has like 1.5xPSB left so I shove and he instacalls AQ. gg stars setups.

I'm down to 14 BB and shove AdKd from the CO, button instacalls with AhKh, flop comes Td7h4d... looking good...
3h... 9h. GG me, AKs<<<<AKs, and I wasted my life.

BEAT: wasted 6 hours of my life
BEAT: finished 19/2650, the bubble before you actually start making enough $ to make it worthwhile.
BEAT: 6 hours, 68$. Subtract the 15$ I spent on rebuys/addons and it amounts to 53$ profit, less than 10$/hr. Yay mcdonalds wages.
BEAT: Dropped 5 buyins at 100nl this morning. Disgusting coolers against moronic opponents.

I'm trying to decide, on a scale of 1-10, just how horrible this hand is..

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $38.30
BB: $59.85
UTG: $51.25
Hero (CO): $116.95
BTN: $48.75

Preflop: Hero is dealt (5 Players)
<font color="red">UTG raises to $1.75</font>, Hero calls $1.75, BTN calls $1.75, 2 folds

Flop: ($6) (3 Players)
<font color="red">UTG bets $3.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $7.00</font>, BTN calls $7.00, UTG calls $4.00

Turn: ($27) (3 Players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($27) (3 Players)
<font color="red">UTG bets $11.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $22.00</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises all-in to $40.00</font>, UTG calls all-in for $31.50, Hero calls $20.50

Pot Size: $152.00 ($152 Rake)

BTN had (full house, sevens full of sixes) and LOST (-$48.75)
UTG had (full house, eights full of sixes) and LOST (-$51.25)
Hero had and LOST (-$51.25)

Hey now.. wasn't QUITE a minraise... there was an extra dollar on there. The river, on the the other hand... THAT was a minraise.
(The min+1 raise can actually be effective sometimes though)
