AZK,

since you said something about it (linen can only be worn 3 months out of the year), I will say that everyone should have different clothes for different seasons, no matter what your locale is, well, at least if you are "into" fashion.

I agree. I'm just saying it sucks cause it's so awesome I wish I could wear it all year long.

Wearing flip flops leads to knee/shin problems for me, and I need to bike to class every day this summer, so they aren't really an option anyway.

However, I sweat a lot, and socks and shoes leave my feet and shoes quite smelly.

The only alternative to this I could think of are Tevas, but they just look so horrid.

However, I saw these in Finish Line, and thought they could definitely work as something to just slip on in the morning to go to class in, or for when I'm going to the beach or something.

Thoughts from the fashion gurus?

I really despise these shoes since they look like they were plucked from a dumpster

Linen shirts really are the [censored]. Just picked up this one and one in white from Lacoste out here in vegas

edit: needs to be dry cleaned obv.

linen is the [censored]. Unfortunately, unless you live in CA, or Miami, you can only really wear it like 3 months out of the year without looking a bit out of place. I saw that Lacoste shirt and almost bought it but I don't like the label being there right in front on the pocket...I'm tired of feeling like a walking billboard for all these clothes, so now I always look for any distinguishing marks before purchasing something.

AZK, Linen makes those 3 months bearable. Additionally, the wrinkles you get from wearing it are dignified and sophisticated. I live in a cold weather state and I have a dozen or so.

Where can I get some bitching motorcycle jackets? D&G has a sleek moto jacket in this month's GQ, I'm not in favor of the brand, so c'est la vie. Btw, Jessica Biel is a butteface, but whoa those hips..

I went to pick up some new shoes today at a place called Shoe Mania. They have this buy one get the 2nd pair half off promotion going on all summer I think. Total bill was $117.34. Also, both shoes are much different than anything else I own.

What are you matching the jeans with? Obvious you need some of both. What brands are you considering?

what styles do you prefer, you're throwing a needle in a haystack without preferences, suggestions, taste.
