Stuck a bunch on the trip.

1st night - i show up and the blackjack dealers at the bellagio are pricks. Like wow. Honestly I have had some brutal dealers before but all in all I have had 0 good experiences with the table game dealers here.

Then I went and played 15/30 because i was tired and wanted to relax. i ran awful for most of it, convinced myself to keep playing because game was $$$, played the worst hand of poker i've played in probably the last year and a half (and i have played some BAD hands before). So that means bed time.

Games won at - 1 (i took my bro to penny slots because he is <21 and wanted to feel out the carding situation. I won $10).

Next day I got lucky because the 100/200 list was too long to actually get a seat*. So i ended up only losing a bit betting horses and blackjack. After dinner I got back on the list, came up to my room and played online, never getting a call from the poker room that i had a seat.

Today I dumped a ton at table games (it was brutal) and then played in the 30 game.

The highlight of this session was the super awkward moment when I introduced myself to schneids. I, as I've confessed before, get very excited when i meet 2p2ers, especially good limit players. All my poker buddies are either terrible or play NL so i never really get to talk about poker. Schneids was sitting down and i just went up to him like "hey i'm danzasmack" and he seemed startled. Sorry dude lol. In his defense he had just gotten there and was sitting down, and i was wearing pink and awkwardly excited.

Anyway just got back from this session where i uneventfully dropped like 30something bets. It was uneventful because even at the end when i had like 6 bets left i didn't even rebuy. Blah blah if i didn't know it was bad i wouldn't have mentioned it. As far as the poker goes just stupid hands like dude opens i defend 8sXs flop is 8hi 1 spade i c/r and get called, turn is a spade i bet he pops i call river blank i check he shrugs and flips up a winner. Or dude opens, half of a america calls, i flop a piece and peel, improve and peel, river i dunno but it's 2 to me and have to fold.

I used "live tells" 2x which was exciting for me. Several more times but kinda meh about them.

I misplayed one hand for SURE but that was my own fault. I thought there were 3 player in the pot but there were 4.

And then there was the other hand which honestly i don't even want to repeat. But basically, games are so good it's sick.

Games won at - still 1

Other notes....

SICK SLOWROLL when i bet the ponies. I'm with KRANTZ who, in case you don't read BBV/NVG is en route to a 7 figure month. We're on the waiting lists or w/e and i'm like "i'll show you how to bet ponies" So i pick 3 horses for a trifecta box, the 1-2-5. He decides he wants to bet like $500 total which TBH is mor than i planned but we do with me throwing in $100 (i went over there with the intentions of betting like $30 total. I know it doesn't sounds like a big difference).

So the race starts with 1-2-5 in the back but at the final bend it's 6-1-2-5. Suddenly, the 1 horse shoots ahead. Then the 2, and the 5 with it. The 6 horse is dead. Got nothing left. The camera pulls away and as we see it, we've got it won. 1st horse in. 2nd in. Then boom. 6 horse noses out 3rd. Woulda been about $40k.

Met a bunch of pros. Nothing really eventful thought Tony G seemed happy that i recognized him. CTS is the nicest dude i've met in a long time.

FoxwoodsFiend played in th 50k horse event and i went over to chat and he had lindgren right to his right, who was next to nicky frangos. 2 to his left was negranu and across the table was freddy deeb.

Also internet poker and live poker have around 3 things in common. As far as intangibles go. But that's a whole other conversation.

That's all i got. Though i can say this whole thread and the nature of the posts in it totally makes sense to me now.

*dropping 50 bets at 100/200 would really really suck. And based on how i'm running this trip - i prob would have.

I believe he had me beat. The look on his face for the five minutes after the hand appeared as though I ran over his puppy.

That may have been the face I showed off last night after this hand vs the Wizard. It was sweet to play with him especially since I never have before. Anyway, I see that there is a poster in the CO and I overlimp with 33 after UTG limps. Some others join us and the Wiz pumps it up from the BB. The flop is A35 with 2 hearts. Booya. Checked to me and I bet, one call, Wiz checkraises and all I can think about is buying a new computer with this pot since he has an Ace and is about to get skullfucked. I call. Turn is 9h. He bets, I raise while trying to decide if I will ever stop if he 3 bets, one fold, he calls. River bricks and he check/calls. I table my monster all proud and then he shows the old 24s. Mike almost falls over in his chair laughing and I actually muster a little chuckle too.

It was a little easier to stomach since I had to take several trips to the cage since I couldn't carry all the chips I had and many were from the Wiz pumping up pots for me. Fun night but bloody long leaving at 10:30 am after a mere 14 hrs.

Just voluntarily left a game while I could still see straight for the first time in a while. Game would have been 4 handed with me, Mike L, Gary and some NL player who is by no means giving money away. Gary was a bit annoyed because he was losing but nowhere near the monkey tilt he would have to be on for me to stay and play in the game.

Game started out amazingly good for a random Monday evening with a full game containing Gary, me, and 7 fish. Alan started on my right, then left for the 20, getting replaced by Aidan or however it's spelled. He played ultra laggy as normal but wound up completely selfdestructing in a way I'd never seen before, with the huge bonus being that he self destructed all of his dollars in my direction. After that some real fishy womans moved into his seat and I think it must be my lucky day because the worst player at the table that I would love to be on the direct left of keep moving to the exact right seat. I win 1 gigantic pot when I suck out on Steve's 99 with KJs on JJ9KX after 5000 way capped preflop, capped flop 3 ways and 3 bets river HU. Unfortunately as soon as Mike gets in the game things begin to go south. As is the custom he 2 outters me on the very first hand we play together, but I can't complain much since I put literally $0 in while ahead. Then I make the mistake of getting AA vs K4o on a J25 flop against fishy womans, not realizing that the turn and river would obviously come KK. Then she makes nut flush against my 2nd nut flush and I 5bet her and vomit and call a 6bet. Mike said I should fold to her 4bet which is just stupid so I assume he was joking. He also said "you shouldn't have gone 6 bets there" which I agree with, but I didn't want to go 6, I wanted to go 5, have her call and me drag the pot. From the way she was talking after the 4bet I felt I had the best hand. Of the many times I've gone 5+ bets postflop with a good hand this is the first time I've been wrong, so I can deal with it I guess. After that I started running good again, but unfortunately the womans ran better and won so much that she decided to quit. At that point I decide it's time to pack up because everyone in the game seems to not have a deep hatred for money. I'd like to think I would have the same discipline if I was losing.

Played a fun hand against Danny at the Bellagio tonight. He's the guy that wears the "Fold Bitch" hat.

Some limpers I raise 99 on the button, he calls in BB and everyone calls.

Flop Kh9h6c. Checked to me, I bet, Danny raises, utg 3bets, I 4bet, Danny calls, utg 5bets, we both call.

Turn 4c. Check, utg bets, I raise, Danny calls, utg calls.

River Qc. Danny quickly donks out and starts laughing uncontrollably and saying "send it!" utg folds and I'm thinking I'm [censored] but there's a million bets in the pot and I still have 3 of a kind so I call. Danny rolls KQ which he really actually thought would be good after that action and I just laugh and roll my set and win all the bets.

Default I challenge you to post a sexier hand

This hand was the most fun I have played in recent memory. Too bad all we get going was a 20/40 game. The villian is Bruce, 50-60ish guy who wears a hat like Bugsby and I think is a pro and beats the game but isn't that good. He plays pretty reasonable but I get the feeling he is not too thrilled with my impact on the Oceans economy. Anyway, some guy limps and a fairly loose passive old guy takes it upstairs from MP. I take a trip to the third story with KK. Bruce calls 3 in the BB, all call. 5 ways. Flop is K88 rainbow. That new rap song that goes "can you work with that, can you work with that, I can work with that" streams through my tired ass dome. Checked to me and I bet, Bruce calls, limper folds, now old guy checkraises, I call, and now Bruce call 3 bets. We both call. This is where it gets fun since I am pretty sure that I know exactly what they both have. The turn is a 3 completing the rainbow and Bruce decides to outsmart me and checks. Luckily the old guy can't be tricked into giving a free card and bets it again. I call and now Bruce lowers the boom an checkraises again, old guy calls, and now I make it 3 and really have to hold back from laughing and saying "welcome to 3 town, population YOU". They both call and the river blanks and it is checked to me and Bruce pays off but old guy decides that not overcalling would be good since if he does I will have achieved the perfect hand and never have to play again.

I really hope this hand didn't happen tonight because I'm about to head up there now and if there was only a 20 going that is not good news.

*edit*
Thank god, just called and didn't get the dreaded "there is no 40 game" response.
