I stopped updating my Premiership stats midway through the season, but Darren Bent was extremely overrated in them. Him joining Spurs may not make much difference at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

What stats do you keep?

I know you did the outcome probability stuff but didn't know you also did individual stats.

yea, honestly, I'd love to see ManU make a move for Nugent. This is a guy with an insane amount of talent with great skill on the ball and top rate finishing ability. Another lower league striker that I think can make the move up is Billy Sharp at Scunthorpe. That is another guy with a great nose for the goal. At this point I don't think that Sharp can step up to a big club, but he is a guy that I think would be a great buy for Wigan or Fulham

pne showed interest in sharp in may

I am not sure of the particulars of his contract but it would be hard to imagine scunny letting him go if they want to stay in the championship.

Speaking of fulham, has there been any word about any strikers they are going to bring in for next season? Mcbride had a decent year and was their player of the season but he's 35 years old now and they surely need some young blood

www.geocities.com/dtlerch is where it is from the last online update, and I kept them for a few more weeks past that before falling behind.

that's interesting that scunthorpe would take that line with selling sharp unless they thought that they might've undersold Keough to wolves. Of course, they may be asking a lot for him because there may be a sell on fee already attached to him. I don't see scunthorpe staying in the championship to begin with, but he is young so him staying at scunny for a season would make sense

I am surprised though that southend are sticking to their guns so much with freddy eastwood. They may as well cash in on him now as he's in his mid 20s and deserves to play at the highest level possible for him while he still has productive years left

Will Barca consider moving Ronaldinho back to an attacking mid while having Eto'o, Messi, and Henry up front?

Barca's website reports they have no intentions of selling Ronnie or Eto'o, so I can see them staying for one year, then leaving.
