Stupid and irrelevant is that commie BS in this Bodog-related thread. And that thing about billionaires distributing money...Of course the majority is not billionaires and they would agree to get some $ from them. I'm not a billionaire and I would want to get money from them too. But that is just nonsense and unfair. [/ QUOTE ] Case closed then, as I doubt anybody is interested anyway... The whole OT sub-thread only started because I said: [ QUOTE ] I think your odds of getting away with at least some of it would have been quite alot better than you think and I don't think many people will be crying over Calvin Ayre losing the cost of few fuelings for his private jet... You should have continued to play 50nl and left the $$$ in there until something happened. If nothing happened, move up in limits and make some $$$ and it would be all yours. Just think of it as someone staked you for the 2knl game...

If a site is so lax they can just accidentally give somebody 1.3M then I'm guessing their cashout procedure might not be so great either (so long as you keep the amounts sensible...). Also, this is just "electronic" money and if they didn't have systems in place to see the 1.3M anomaly as it hit your account, then their is a pretty good chance it might never get detected (for all you know it might have just been created/duped and not be missing from any other electronic sum... computers DO make errors!!!). First you could have just sat on the amount and not done anything for a few weeks to see if anybody noticed. Then you could have cashed out your own 1k first to see what happens. If nobody notices then I'd keep on trying to cash another 1k each week or so (whatever amount is unlikely to get flagged for a real human to audit it...). If after some time you find that it still hasn't been noticed, then you could consider chip dumping (in sensible amounts) to try to get it out a bit quicker. I think your odds of getting away with at least some of it would have been quite alot better than you think and I don't think many people will be crying over Calvin Ayre losing the cost of few fuelings for his private jet... Juk [/ QUOTE ] QFT. This was definitely the way to play it. I would have no compunction in at least attempting to get this money. First step would simply be doing NOTHING. Don't chip-dump or cash out or do anything else that would raise flags, just wait a couple of days to see if you get contacted. If nothing happens, THEN you arrange for friends to set up accounts and work out a way to lose money to them, and come up with some sort of plan. It's painful just thinking about the missed opportunity here. By the way this thread should be cross-posted to BBV; I'm sure you would get some great advice there... |

[/ QUOTE ] You guys are thinking way too big when it comes to cashing out or chip dumping! Definitely wait a few days until they notice something (likely they wont) Then DO NOT cash out. You have to assume most of their cashouts are at least scanned by a human at some point. If anybody sees more than 6 figures in an account red flags will be raised. Alert some high stakes friends about the situation, have them start playing the 2k dog tables regularly, and then start playing there yourself. Play like absolute garbage. Give $ away to everybody, whether or not they're in it with you. Your awful play will loosen the room and make it much more profitable for your high stakes buddies to sit. And you can occasionally dump a stack or two to your friends without them being in question. After a week you should have dumped thousands of dollars to hundreds of players. Once Bodog wises up (and they eventually would), you think they're going to freeze ALL of the accounts and confiscate every dollar won from you? no way. Split the $ with your high stakes buddies profit oh and if you didnt have any high stakes buddies before you would have had an easy time making them in this situation and they probably would have given you some tips to help you get above the 50$ level passed a golden opportunity here bro |

You think Bodog would just let it go after you dumped 1.3M like that? They have all your data (name, addres) and they would do everything legal (maybe illegal too) to make your life miserable. |

wow, the replies in this thread are staggeringly stupid
It always lifts my spirits to read threads like this cuz I realize the average 2p2er is a [censored] moron, which goes a long way towards explaining why poker is still so profitable even tho its populated by "knowledgeable" people. |
