Why is it that whenever someone lets their girlfriend sweat they run extremely hot? There is this guy who comes up from Iowa to Cbury every month or so and absolutely destroys the game while his cute girlfriend sits behind him cheering him on. He also happens to be a total fish. Whenever he sits down I always tell myself how bad I am going to own him in front of his girlfriend. Of course he gets all my money every time.

My experience is that getting sweated = doom. I've always wondered what girlfriends think every time they sit behind their boyfriend while he gets obliterated in a poker game.

Wonder no longer: they don't care; you're out of the casino and into the bedroom faster. Fine by them.

I think you clearly misunderstand the normal average girlfriend priority list. It is usually more like:

1. money
.
.
.
.
.

Of course, but they are impressed if they see you can afford to lose money. So act like it's no problem to drop a couple dimes at poker and they will get ants in their pants.

This is beginning to get [censored] rediculous. Another billion hour session where I think I'm going to go off like a rocket man and win a [censored] only to lose instead. Played 40 with Mike L, Gary and then the typical crowd of other people. Start out like -1 rack but quickly spiral upwards to +3.5 racks. Game gets shorthanded and I go into my patented new mode where you play one hand an hour at most in a legitimate effort to go out like poor Broomcorn's uncle, losing every one of the few hands I do play. The great part is that 3/4 the funnest suckouts I received were to Mike L so I can't even win the money back like I can from most the other retards. On the upside I felt like I played really well at least. I got "lucky" that I lost only $900 as I got stuck about $2200 at one point I think.

Time for sleep before yet another attempt to see if maybe just maybe I can not run like [censored].

Feel your pain. 2nd straight losing month. I love how the poker gods tease you and let you get up big in the beginning of the session only to take it away. That [censored] tilts me so hard.

At a home game two nights ago we started doing Omaha flips for $100 per hand and I lost $1700.

I recently starting stacking my chips in huge weird towers so I couldn't count them. I think you need to try this badly.

I'm up like 2k on Stinkypete at this because I run good at neutral EV betting. Your BR management scares me though.
