Number

Some of the svchost files come with windows and their needed to run windows. But on the other side, Ive had my fair share of trojans over the past few years. And everytime ive learned more about them. Just look for any svchost or svcholt that is taking up a good chunk of your systems memory. It is most likely that that file is the one your trying to get rid of. Close it from your task manager so you are able to delete the file off your system. Once you've done that just delete the svchost folder that was recently installed(by mistake off trying to watch the vid) then your good.

Most likely, just read the past 10 posts or so I've said here then your fine. The guy who made this trojan is an idiot and it is really easy to get rid of.

It's not running then. Just delete the svcholt file from your program files directory.

It's not there, it's only located under C:\Windows\System32

I'm like 99% sure I'm clean.

Your most likely good, just download the prog I said a few posts ago. Then open up some sort of login prog and see what happens.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, but don't take my word for it when Vista is concerned.

btw: that prog prompted me right when I started up the comp. Once for some Acer program (laptop) which I allowed, and once for an Microsoft .NET application with extremely high risk . Now I know that Msofts .NET is safe, but I guess some trojan could imitate it, right? Would snoopfree prompt me bcuz of .NET 2.0 ?
