Other than a beer run which had us outdoors for 5 minutes total and saw us get nearly lost despite traveling only a handful of of minutes, I haven't been outside since I arrived.
Havent played an MTT since the bounty event. Played 200 max from 10 am to 6 pm and then 11 pm to 11 am for a cumulative like 350 profit (minus 20$ I lost on a prop about who would stay at the table longer - he was there when I got there and still there when I left). The table was goot until they decide to bump it to 300 max 2/5 at like 9 am (I wanted to object but everyone else was enthused so I figured whatever), the change did nothing but make the bad players play slightly better and make the new players who came to the table slightly better. The game was a lot of fun when it started but then I accidentally slow rolled someone (long story, 100% unintentionally, when I wasn't supposed to show first anyhow and in a fairly small pot and I apologized profusely but he still was smoldering in my direction the rest of the game). I stayed trying to get into a hand with some guy who had a monster stack and called an over bet push on a QQs6s from with J9 no spades (amongst other calls) but he finally got stacked and didn't reload, so I swallowed my pride and figured 20$ wasn't worth staying in a bad game. Highlight of the trip has def been the 2+2 lightning poker silliness and the pvt 1/2 game where I played 2 hands and lost > 200 of somebody else's money while they were in the bathroom. |

hey money (who were you?)
was it JT on a K53 board, wow I got that action all wrong I missed the beginning of the hand getting a drink and the end cause we were all laughing too hard, but yea it was all spades I remembered that just mistyped it -- and Im sure he had Jack high no pair or draw. It was literally the worst single poker play Ive ever seen. Yea, in a game like that Im an ultra nit (though that one girl put even me to shame). I 3 bet pf exactly one times in 12 hours (and it was a horrible online tournament player push with AK according to one player*). But when people are unable to fold TP znd or a FD I dont see the point of trying to pull out anything but ABC nittiness. Re: slowroll. Ok so I have KQs against an EP raiser who is tricky and seems like he can be a good loose aggro player when hes on his game but isnt playing well tonight, I flop top two and he makes a speech while we put some money in about how I must have a huge hand. I dont like the speech or the A that comes on the board and when he checks to me on the river I say "I am a nit" and just check behind. Now he says 'you got me' and doesnt show his hands (he's OOP and we checked down) so I see an opportunity for win/win, he doesnt wanna show his hand and Id like to just show one card so I pick up my cards and flash the Q on the bottom (people have picked up pots without showing their kicker a bunch at our table and he has made a 'you got me' type comment a bunch of times with like missed suited connectors/small pairs), he says 'oh!' and before the words 'no.. no I have two pair' finish coming out of my mouth shows K-rag. So meh whatever, he gets pissed doesn't accept my attempts to apologize and I let it go as he broods in his seat. * BTW, this guy is the same guy who said my push with AKs pf was horrible. Quickly, a few people enter the pot and he raises on the button, the SB who keeps pushing almost anything and rebuying for 60 goes allin (I put him on 22+/KQ+/AJ+) I look down at AKs in the BB and push. Button calls saying Ive got him, he has AKo and SB has 33. 3s hold and he starts talking about how bad my push is and how I need KK+ to make that push (so why does he call?). |

Just busted in the 1k. Lost a 10k pot to Bryn Kenney where I raised 225 w/ JJ, he made it 725 and I just flatted. Flop was Qh-9h-8 and we both checked. Turn was a 5h; I lead for 1k (no heart), he shoves 4k. I tank for like 2 minutes before calling and he has Ah Ks. River Th. STRAIGHT! Oh...
My bustout hand was me smooth calling a LP raiser on the button w/ KK. He lead 350 on a Q-4-4 flop, which was a total underbet and I was like 75% sure I was beat but there's just no way I could fold w/ my stack and with the way I played the hand pre, so I jam and he has QQ (obv). GL to those still in. |

I have like 11k or so at a table with Exitonly, pretty soft overall though, hopefully I can keep winning lots of small pots. I've only played one all in pot, I got it in on the turn with 2 outs but I don't think I could have played it any differently (was for roughly 10/11k pot) and I bricked.
