Even Bill Simmons said in his chat today he tried to watch it but it was tough to focus on after the Sopranos. I'm sure they'll let the show pick up steam.

Why does this warrent an "even"?

THE SOPRANOS FINALE WAS SO SHOCKING AS TO EVEN SHAKE ONE OF AMERICA'S BRIGHTEST MINDS, SPORTSWRITER BILL SIMMONS (who's basically sucked for 2 years and is painfully vapid when he tries to write about non sports tv) TO THE CORE!

I wrote the "even" because I figured you'd think he sucked. Kind of like "even my idiot brother who defines mainstream america didn't get a chance to watch episode one"

but here is his chat recap if you'd like: http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/warrent

edit: not that i'm that big of a simmons fan. pretty sure he has never written anything about basketball i've enjoyed.

I'm with Dids on this one. Who cares what this douchenozzle thinks? Did he manage to mix in some sort of Seinfeld/Red Sox element to the story of why he couldn't watch it?

I freaking hate bill simmons.

i only know him from his column in ESPN the mag...but bill; if you're reading this...

I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE RED SOX OR THE CELTICS.

WRITE ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE PLEASE.

YOUR COLUMN ISN'T EVEN INTERESTING ENOUGH TO GET ME THROUGH A DUMP AS I OFTEN CHOOSE TO READ A SHAMPOO BOTTLE INSTEAD

I just noticed ep2 is available OnDemand already...sweet.

Something strange happened with my ondemand. I watched episode one, but it clearly stopped in the middle (right around the scene where the guy is waving the run around). I was wondering whether ep2 was actually a continuation of the first episode, and just divided in two for some reason.

I also DVRd it, so I'll just watch it that way to find out for sure.

I always thought I was the weird one. I have this crazy mind-thing that I can't [censored] unless I have something to read. I have gone as far to read a shampoo bottle's label very intensely.

I have eps 1 and 2 on demand - I've watched 1 and it's the whole thing.

Wynton,

there are 2 boxes at my place and 1 tv had Ep. 2 on demand and the other didn't. I rebooted the one without it and then it showed up.

I watched the whole thing, I don't remember a third base coach being in the shoe.
