Is the play that much different at .50/1.00 than 2/4?

Yes.

Very easy answer. But myself I am curious as to why. I never started at the lower limits. I probaly jumped in at 2/4 and 1/2 and now multi tabling 3/6 and 5/10. For me I was Bonus hunting Blackjack sites and making serious coin till the wagering requirements and bonuses depleted. Though I have probaly read 20 different poker books. Dor me the main flaws i still have is not folding that A-K on a check raise on the turn when you know your probaly beat. I think that no matter what low limit you play you will find many of the same types of players at 3/6 as you do at .25/.50. Than again i have not choosen to tackle poker as a way of earning a living. Been tempted but realize still not good enough.
