this whole thread is rediculous.

they arent cheating, one of them four bets Q6s in a 9 handed game. thinks that you have to "mix it up" like that in order to beat the game.

also, many of the guys who are buddies like to take shots at eachother like that, some play softer against eachother, but like pbob said when he plays with schneider, bk, he really goes off and does rediculous stuff (they all do, because they play like spewtard monkeys against eachother)

ps. i cant beat laura anymore in that game anymore, it sucks, and i want to kill myself.

I saw some collusion at Caesar's IN but the floor thought I was mistaken. The next week they busted two guys for colluding in that game but I wasn't there at the time so I don't know if it was the same guys.

I believe collusion happens from time to time but I don't worry about it because anybody bad enough at cheating for me to catch is going to get busted really soon anyway.

If OP believed the game wasn't straight, he should leave immediately and tell the floor. The floor can watch, after all it is their job.

I can't believe how long this thread has gotten and I can't believe I read the whole thing.

I wasn't there and the evidence is inconclusive but I have to wonder, if the game is rigged, why did the OP continue to play?

If the OP had left the game immediately, notified the floor, etc. I would be more inclined to believe collusion had occurred. Continuing to play, busting out and then making a post about collusion raises reasonable doubt.

Not to derail the thread, but if any of you suspect collusion in your game, stop playing immediately and go tell the floor. Do not continue to play. Switch games, go home or whatever but do not stay in that game.

Do you really think that if I go to CB I'm going expecting to grind out my $60/hr?

Um... 3 BB/100 = $180/hour.

However, next time any of these players are in LA... I'll have one of the boss-men at the Bike set up any game we want to play.

I smell road trip.

[/ QUOTE ]

Apparently I won't be part of the road trip attraction... amazingly... all the people I was playing with today... you know... the guys sweating the 30-60 action... all the sudden I'm finding out they only come to CA to play 200-400. Wow...

[/ QUOTE ]

I go to CB occasionally to play 30/60 for fun, and usually with friends who are also playing in the game. It's a good competitive challenge/rivalry. Do you really think that if I go to CB I'm going expecting to grind out my $60/hr?

[/ QUOTE ]

not the way you play.

A few comments on this thread from a CP regular, albeit at 8/16.

These games play insane aggro sometimes, and players will jam preflop, then fold for a bet on the flop. In the 8/16 it is common to see some players cap preflop with any vaguely connected and suited cards (or suited K-small). If the flop comes bad, they fold, although many will see the turn, hoping to pick up a draw .

Have never seen collusion at CP, although I have picked up a few marked cards, and there are times when players will softplay the nuts or tell another player they have the winning hand (then show), just to be "nice." I never do this.

I play ~10 hours a week and almost always know 5-7 players at the table, and although I'm way too much of a dick to be called "buddy," banter of the "buddy" type is common.

2BB/hour is very possible at CP.
