America's health care system sucks.
America's justice system sucks.
America's prison system sucks.
America's foreign policy sucks.
America's uber-patriotism and religiousness suck.

America's TV shows and movies are great.
America's sports are great.

I'm a liberal. I don't believe in God. Am I a communist?

[/ QUOTE ]

Next time you throw a party I'm going to come over and constantly complain, as loudly as I can, to as many people as I can.

The music sucks
The food sucks
There aren't enough hot girls
The temperature is wrong
You didn't invite my other friends
There aren't enough chairs

Wouldn't one of the first thoughts you have be "Why doesn't he just leave?"

(I know this analogy is somewhat off because you were born in America, probably, and didn't just show up, and also being able to actively change the political landscape is a right, but you get the point)

Romney also has a universal health care plan, which, I believe, he has implemented in Massachusetts. I'd rather live there than in Cuba, but it's close. Comes down to a choice between indoor plumbing and the suffering the Red Sox.

It seems that you feel uncomfortable about people speaking their mind when they feel there is something wrong. Do you think that is so, and if it is, why do you think that is?

Didn't you see the thread where everybody debunked your apparent "stop complaining or get out" point of view?

Wow, the "love it or leave it" argument was officially debunked? Right here on 2+2 politics? Well I'll be damned.

You'd better update some Wiki page to make it official.

I don't read this forum much. Could someone link to a thread or articles on other sites with a good debate of universal health care vs. free market system?

[ QUOTE ]
Self-promoting, self-gloating, and propagandist master Mr. Moore has again thrust himself into the spotlight of media hype with his new film Sicko, [another link here Sicko at Cannes, note how some goons are already salivating over this movie], ostensibly a documentary about the failure of the American Health Care System. The film title is probably more a statement about Mr. Moore than anything else. This dimwitted, fat-faced maggot has flair for stirring up the masses and getting credulous do-gooders and other self-pimping world savers all worked into a boiling froth. Something they all deserve by the way.

Mr. Moore’s sleazy use of 9/11 rescue workers and his shuffle off to Buffalo schtick of visiting the island paradise of Cuba to seek health care for same is a neat trick. He lambastes America, the Evil Empire, while soothing the cockles of every leftist’s heart with the old canard of Cuba’s miraculous health care system. The sycophants and other lickspittle morons that follow every fart and fallacy uttered or promoted by self-serving idiots like Mr. Moore will no doubt lap up this leftist spew like a root beer float on a hot summer day.

Enjoy.

But how do you really feel about it?

Thanks for you unbiased, balanced review. You always know that when someone leads out with an insult or personal attack (and then continues with them over and over), they have little to offer in the way of logical persuasion.

But what if he is part owner of the house where the party is thrown, as well?
