Does anyone know the blinds for Day 3 (with the 500k+ buy-in)?

[/ QUOTE ]

Cardplayer.com put up an article a few minutes ago, it was 3k/6k NL with a 12k straddle.

[/ QUOTE ]
WTF, I thought they were gonna show some deep-stack poker.

Jman did you know the game was gonna be that big or were you under the impression that it was gonna be played with the normal 300/600 blinds?

The author of the cardplayer article made an error - it was 300-600 with a 1200 straddle.

[/ QUOTE ]

The article states that the blinds were 3K-6K for Monday (Day 3).

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm guessing the 3k/6k blinds is what Daniel hinted at in his blog -

Today's lineup appears to be much tougher, with a special twist that I'm not sure I should mention in the blog. What this "twist" will do to the game remains to be seen, but it could potentially cause for some monster pots.

On Day 3, the blinds were 300-600- with a 1200 straddle. The twist may have been the straddle it may not have been. But that is besides the point- the blinds were 300-600 with a 1200 ante and a forced 500k buyin.

It was NOT 3000-6000 with 12k straddle.

3000-6000 would be insane esp with the straddle

TV poker doesn't sound like real poker to me if the players are playing based on peer pressure to play "exciting" poker. Poker is at heart a math/probability game, not a "I want to look cool so I'll raise with 75o" game.

He's talking about the straddle.

JFC people, they were not playing 3k/6k.

Jman,

Maybe you can use that 500k and buy a personality?

So for the 500k day was the straddle on the button or something cool? There's no way that someone can post something about a "weird twist" and then nobody leaks what it was.
