2) so like, what are people's interpretations of "i get it"? [/ QUOTE ] I thought it was justification of Christopher's death thinking that his bad luck was caused by him. |

I have this feeling that the Somalian dude that got his ass beat on the street has a father that is somehow friends with Tony, and that Tony will end up indirectly hurting AJ.

2) so like, what are people's interpretations of "i get it"? [/ QUOTE ] I posted one theory earlier in the thread. Another interpretation is that the universe is a big joke, and Tony finally gets the joke. |

And he does see the light twice in the episode, literally -- first by looking up at the lamp on the ceiling of his hotel bathroom, then by watching the sunset with Christopher's former stripper girlfriend and erupting with joy at the sight of a solar flare that resembled the helicopter searchlights/operating table lamp from his coma experience. "I get it!" he shouts. "I get it!" [/ QUOTE ] I was hoping someone would comment about the last words of the episode. I would have sworn that Tony said "I did it!", finally able to shout out he was the killer. And I thought he was tearing up a little. My wife thought he said "I get it." I guess she's right, but I actually would have found either version satisfying, in different ways. |

One other comment: The most powerful moment for me in the episode was when Edie Falco reacted to Christopher's death. It was so believable it sent a chill up my spine, and perfectly contrasted with Tony's attitude.
The more I think about this episode, the richer it seems. |
