I've allready played more hands this month than any other month ever.
I am having a good month at the cash games, but keep giving it away in the tourneys.
I am doing good Live as well.

5000 hands today for only 240 bucks. Deduct the 215 today plus me trying to qualify for it, and I am actually currently down.

So, i'll have to put in another 2k hands tonight to try to get ahead for the day.

I also know that I can hit supernova easily this year, and If I don't buy bonus's or an LCD TV, next month I should hit enough points to buy into one of the $1500 WSOP events with my FPPS!

I bought in short at a bunch of tables and AA<KQ, KK<99, and I lost a flip. I still can't believe that people will call a shortstack push with hands like 99 and KQ...sooooo -ev.

depends on the shortstack

but 99 is +EV vs prob 75% of shortstackers shoving ranges, almost all of the shorties play terrible

just annoying to have in the games

you are usually getting 1.5/1 or better and their range is loaded with non-paired hands

I guess that explains why I can do it profitably.

lol I bet you play better than almost all shorties, I prob didn't clarify my thoughts, I don't mean 99 is ahead 75% of the time when a shortstack shoves, just that you need to call a shove vs most of the shortstackers with 99(the standard, I open to 4bb, shorty shoves for 20bbs)

I haven't really thought about KQ or messed around in pokerstove, but I imagine its +EV a fair amount of the time, but less often than 99

also if the shortstack doesn't rathole, my edge vs them with 40bbs is pretty decent

I understood what you were saying. It's always a lot closer when you open and the ss shoves.

I messed up and meant to say when I had KK I opened and the guy with 99 shoved over me, which makes it entirely different...and entirely -ev.

And if a ss doesn't rathole he's not doing it right

This month has been nuts. Had one of my worst downswings ever followed by a huge heater.

Here's how it looks on my lifetime graph.
