I'm raising 22+ here. If I hit a set, I want the pot to be big enough to encourage my opponents to stick around for a round or two.

These jokers peel the flop and often call the turn and river with A-high/any pair, don't worry about them sticking around especially when the flop is rags and you "could be stealing".

Aside from equity, the reason I might raise 99 preflop from the BB is to be able to clarify any iffy flops - like the one here. Typically I'll bet into the limpers when there's only one overcard. But then you get deeper into these hands and the players refuse to give info, just calling with any K, or maybe they have TT and want to showdown.

I was considering a c/r vs a late position bet or maybe just calling a bet with no other callers.
