if you're a tourist? The old port is pretty and all, and i appreciate my tastes don't run very close to alot of the bbv community so whatever, but i'd much rather buy a house in mile-end or around jean-talon.

beat: the real estate market must really be in the crapper there. that apartment in any of the three best areas where i am would go for over a million easy

i can't think of the old-port without thinking of really really bad gallerys and all those stores that sell little statues of mounties and fleur-de-lis shirts etc. Anyway, nice place, enjoy yourself.

financial times said it was top 5 place in north america to invest in real estate, planning on buying a few condos in the old port, it really is a beautiful city
