Has anyone mentioned taxes yet?
You should check out the investing forum on this site. There's some good people there with good advice to lead you into the right direction with this money. (or in true BBV fashion: hookers and blow yo [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img])

There will certainly be a "best" way to accept the prize. Consult with a lawyer and an investment analyst at least.
Also, try to be really smart about it. Possibly the worst thing you can do is let everyone know you just won the lottery - you're a mark now, I hope you realize that. Good luck, enjoy it, do the things you've always wanted to do, and try really hard to understand that you CAN use this to arrange the rest of your life so that you live very well. Congratulations!

Agreed H5N1...a few of my buddies went to that school, they're some of the best drivers in NASCAR right now. That's where all of the drivers go before they race on a road course.
