Default How to beat the FT 1.25\'s?????

I have been playing on there and my ROI is terrible I have read articles on here and I get donked out on everytime. I'm playing people who min raise on the bubble with 250 chips left with blinds at 40/80. These things are donk fests. If I could talk with someone on how to sucessfully beat these that would be great.

There is always talk on how people should be be able to start at the 3.40's and beat them and move to the 60's within a week. I know this isn't posssible for me but I should be able to beat these at least. I know bubble play and who to focus on.

Sharkscope me and you'll see I play as AAA444555 on full tilt. I want to be pwning these games any help appreciated.

I personally don't know who ever went from 3.40's to 60's in a week. or months for that matter. I say a big problem is the rake.

Yeah those should be easily crushable. Keep studying and post some hands because leaks will probably be identified quickly.

Oh and no one goes from 3.40s to 60s in a week, atleast not with a proper roll. Months is realistic but not a week.

At the very low levels, sometimes you do better by moving up, if you have the bankroll for it. It may be that your natural style is suited to a tighter table. Moving up doesn't help good players, since good players adjust to the conditions and take advantage of worse plays, but beginning players may not.

I know that when I started out on Party half a year ago, I did better at $10 tables than I did at $5 tables, and I did better at $20 tables than I did at $10 tables.

I'm guessing your sample is extremely small, you never do better when you move up over a significant amount of games.

If you're a good player, you don't. In my case, I was very good at stealing blinds near the bubble, and weak at other skills. At the lowest levels, people called with all kinds of crap, so stealing didn't work too well. At one level above that, people were good enough to fold bad hands, but not good enough to know that you're supposed to steal blinds when they go high, and that someone may be doing likewise when they keep pushing their 8BB stack.

Could I have some general tips, I know the general rule is tight in the beginning then pushing at the end/ bubble. Everyone tells me that I should be pwning these games but I am not. That basically makes me think that I am a donk.

Well one you've played 60 games.

Two the rake is 25% of the buy in. lol. Even if it is only a $1 that's just silly. My advice is to at least play the $2 turbos while paying the same rake.

Also, I play $33/55 Turbos on FT. Over 200 games my ROI was 1% in those games. Over 1100 games it's now 15%. Just saying I wouldn't put too much value in determining what your long term ROI will be after 60 games played.

I looked at your sharkscope and there were lots of 5th & 6th. You should check the HH and see if there are some huge suck-outs. I suspect this means you are not being tight enough.

i think that no one should look at any sample of 60 games unless it is all 7th or lower to mean anything at all.
