I guess I'll have to stick to the Caesar's topless pool for my tanning needs.

Maybe I'll come over and BBQ some ribs anyway

Well, at least it's wheelchair accessible. So if you go visit, you can bring your scooter!

why does catcher333 minraise pf all the time? I thought he was a solid player.

[/ QUOTE ]

what does minraising pf have to do with not being a solid player?

[/ QUOTE ]

Jesus, I didn't say he wasn't a solid player. I know he's solid post flop. It's just that 99% of the good players here aren't minraising 90% of the time pf like catcher333. I didn't know he was playing some revolutionary, minraise pf, ftw style.

[/ QUOTE ]

You see it a few times- and you think okay...fine. But then he keeps doing it....I say WTF!!! It causes me to build monster pots. He minraises from EP to $8 and I have to go to $24....

I'm sure this is part of his strategy, it just takes a little while to adjust to.

BTW: Nice rally BG. I saw you with over $1k on one table and though u might be getting close.

U guys like graphs??? Help me decide- MTT's or SSNL?

So I have about $15k in wins this year from FTP and Stars....yet a slightly negative ROI (some very close finishes to much more money-drastically affecting the ROI)

And $21k in wins on Bodog with $19k of it profit. Total tourneys played between the 3 sites- about 550. Average time per: 3 hours per- 4 tabling- about 400 hours total tourney play.

Yet, I've been playing/learning cash since mid February. I've just completed my first 30,000 hands, and I enjoy the freedom, and ability to take breaks, rather than play the 10 hour tourney sessions.

Up until this past weekend, I was convinced cash was the way to go, but then I won $3500 2 weeks ago (lost QQ<99<JJ to get me HU with huge CL- had to settle for 3rd place chop)and then $9k this past Sunday. The age old battle continues...I'm running hot at cash, so I know this isn't sustainable. I still question a lot of what I do, but how much more would I have if I had spent those 400 hours in cash games? (Also, no doubt cash games dramatically increased my ability to play post flop poker in tourneys, helping my ROI)

tedtodd,

If you are good at both, why not keep playing both?
