Also, it seems wickss's play/results have deteriorated since the begginning of this thread. Perhaps he is trying to think to much at the table. Oftentimes trying to process too much information keeps us from recognizing the key elements which are most important in decision making. Sometimes hand strength alone will dictate how you play, others times it will be position or stack sizes or reads or what has already happened in the hand when it gets to you. There are a lot of things going on at any particular table at any particular time so its important to recognize the factors which are most important for that situation. Break the game down and simplfy it. Study one aspect and then spend your next session focusing mostly on that part of your game. Don't try to do it all at once. gl. [/ QUOTE ]Precisely. The right play in a sng (as in any poker game) is sooooo situational. Sometimes that line can be razor thin. |

The thread has changed ... just the bulk of the download will weigh down interest.
If he is serious he needs to take advantage of his fortunate flavour of the week status and use the resources that have been offered. What a waste if he has to go back to being a cabbie if an hour a day of studying was deemed a burden. Especially since it would pay immediate dividends |

We know our advice is good cause we've been through it ourselves. If wicks doesn't improve I'm holding you accountable as well Who's Don King going to promote if his fighter can't fight?!?!?!?? |

If Wickss keeps making money playing this badly, I will have to quit my job and make some real bucks at poker because even a full ring cash game player like me knows when to push and who to avoid. Why doesn't he just stick to PLO? He pawns that game. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Raise >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>> fold >>>>> call [/ QUOTE ] I can't tell if you miswrote that or not. Are you really saying fold>call as part of some overall strategy? [/ QUOTE ] He is most likely leveling or going with the fact that a side pot of at least a BB is important in case you lose main pot [/ QUOTE ] Keep the leveling nonsense away from strategy. Its fine for bbv, but the word leveling does nothing but muddle strategy posts and confuse people trying to learn. |

Just based on the few hands I've seen posted in this thread, it seems that Wickss doesn't understand sngs that well. Like others have said, I recommend that he takes some time to study.
