tufat,

I have not seen one episode of any of the shows that you listed. The only network shows I currently watch is Jericho and Dancing With the Stars (though my wife and kids are not crazy about this group of stars).

This hand just put me on tilt. The first time in like 3k hands someone calls my 3bet or even calls me when I have AA.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($226.80)
CO ($73.25)
Hero ($98.65)
SB ($130.05)
BB ($85.20)
UTG ($163.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $4, MP calls $4, 1 fold, Hero raises to $16, 2 folds, UTG calls $12, MP folds.

Flop: ($37.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $30, UTG raises to $133, Hero calls $52.65 (All-In).

Turn: ($253.15) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($253.15) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $253.15

Results in white below:
UTG has 2h 2c (three of a kind, twos).
Hero has Ad Ac (one pair, aces).
Outcome: UTG wins $253.15.

Wow, how awesome is it to fire up 2p2 this morning and find things are back to normal?

kolo - she's kinda cute, I wouldn't say a huge milf. Your niece might be a bit young to be drinking white wine btw.

tufat,

thanks for the response mate. I agree with you on Lost - love it. I haven't seen many of the shows your mentioned including The Amazing Race and Rome. I think I'll be dl'ing Rome asap, and I'll give the amazing race a chance too (start with season 1?)

Input from others on 24 is encouraged. the reason I asked for thoughts on The Wire and Spooks along with 24 is that, well, I love both. For me, The Wire is the best show I've ever seen. The season is a novel with each episode being chapters, and it is incredibly well written. Anyway, since the season as a whole is more important than individual episodes, and I assumed 24 was also this way, I thought knowing how one stands on both The Wire and 24 would help.

Also, since I love Spooks, and it is, like 24, a spy series, hearing opinions on it should be helpful too. I found Spooks when I happened across a couple episodes of season 3 on t.v. here in sweden. I then ordered the dvd's for seasons 1,2 and 3, (and more recently season 4 as well). I don't mind telling you that those were some quality hours of high intensity entertainment.

If anyone wants to jump in with simple rankings that'd be great too. something like - "24 is a 10, holla!" or "bpc, you a fool for loving the spooks, that [censored] 's a 2 yo, but 24 is the shizzle. 10 all day long." anything works

I'll add it to my Netflix for this summer when the kids visit Grandma. Thanks!
