since i've seen every ep of 24 and the wire:

get seasons 1-4 of 24, season 5is fine too.

the wire is completely different, its more about in depth character development. There's still action and stuff, but the major focus is on teh featured charaters.

24 is like 50 cent, the wire is like talib kwalib.


personally i didnt really like the wire, as my attention span is too low to fully comprehend. season1 is about hood ganstas, as is season 3 or 4, cant remember. season 2 i found boring cos it was about white people.


spooks sucks, from what i've seen. my flatmate loves it. she goes nuts, but from what i've seen its not great.


i watch a lot of tv, cos i'm a fatass, and also how i managed to break my sofa.


best show out is obv 'the amazing race'. this shizzle has gone ELEVEN series, and its just the bomb all teh time (apart from season 4, u can miss that one.) i've seen seaons 1-5, 10 and currently watching 11 as it airs. I also have dloaded 6-9 and its the shizzle.

otehr tv that comes to mind

rome

i think it was the bbc + nbc, cant remember. Its just done season 2 and i think its over, cost 100 mill for seaosn 1. its just THE BEST (behind the race obv). seriously, this has probably been some of the best tv out in the last few years. season 1 is about caesars assent and reign, season 2 is about what happened in the immediate few years after.

hustle

a show thats gone into 3 seasons, and i think is going for more. its about huslters.. well hustling people and is done very well. theres also a spin off show called 'the real hustle' which follows 3 'real' hustlers, as they go around britain performing real hustles for hidden cameras, and i love it.


heroes

currently in its first season. first 2 eps are good, next 4 are not, btu from then on its great. its currently on break

the apprentice

US season 6: good. i hate the gimmicks like 'lol go live in a tent', but trumps daughter ivanka (sp?) is HAAAAWWWWWWWWTTTTTT. in fact all the girls are pretty attractive. my flatmate like heidi, and i love stephenie. it also has turned into reality tv, with very little focus actually on the task.

UK season 3: in contrast the people are all but ugly. however its very 'real', and the emphesis of the show is very much the task which is great. However the people they've picked are borederline retarded, and i'm actually considering applying for next season, having no business experince, just a straight up 'hustler' as a professional gambler. Not sure if that would fly, but i really think i would win. The people filmed dont really seem to know how to win the tasks, or win in the boardroom. also, lol business experince? he's got like 3 used car salesmen to choose from and a quantum physicist who thinks she needs 100 litres of milk when selling coffee for 5hrs. looks like great fun.

dragons den

absolutely awesome show. made me buy some reggae reggae sauce. its about people going in front of 5 'dragons' and pitching business ideas for investment.

god aweful season 6. 1-4 are good, 5 is pretty bad. 6 makes me wanna kill myself
