Meh. Imus has been on the radio forever and should know better so I have no problem with him getting spanked for being stupid. I think it is better to call people on that kind of crap than not to. If no one says you're being an idiot you are less likely to stop doing idiotic things.

he makes fun of black people, rap station morning shows make fun of whitey, its all a wash in the end.

people like o'reilly are spewing much worse venom on a daily basis and people actually watch his show.

i think he should be canned, but that is just based on the fact that he's impossibly lame.

Imo, Imus is embarassing himself more in the aftermath, with the groveling apologies trying to save his job.

He has made a living being arrogant while making fun of the way people act and now he's acting just like the people he spoofs.

Be a man, say you made a mistake and say you are willing to take the consequences even if that means losing the gig. Tearfully telling us that you're a "good" person who said a "bad" thing is pathetic.
