BRAG: I made a new buddy today at FTP 1/2 NL!

This is all from my 500 hand session today.

BEAT: I lost $409.45 in all the rest of my hands.

VARIANCE: I ran sick sick cold in hands not against this dude and the fact that I'm even up today is probably a pretty good achievement.

g, I'm pretty sure I would kill myself if I HAD to play that much, and I probably come close to playing that much anyway. Yes, its bank, but dear lord, don't turn pro yet . Theres a lot more to it than that.

was just thinking how much guaranteed money you can make if you turned pro and played on Pstars $1/2. Say you do and play for 8 hours a day or 9 hours 8-12 tabling, like a real job. you do that 5 or 6 days a week I bet you can accumulate 200k fpps every 15 days while puttins aside maybe 30000 to use for Sunday million buyins (twice a month). If you accumulate 4 $1500 bonuses a month thats 6k per month just based on rakeback. Thats $72,000 a year. Say you play bad and lose $25000 thats still $47000 which is not a great salary but a normal one for a student that just graduated from college. Plus the odds of you losing 30k for the year at $1/2 NL on Stars is pretty slim given the compeitition and the resources you have on here.

Also with that steady play Supernova Elite could definitely be accomplished because you are hitting 3k Vpps per day.

Who knows what happens when you get invited to the 2 live tournaments or a Sunday million if you get to play 2 per month or 24 per year. Just cashing in a live event is like +12000.

Something to think about...

You could make $200k at 3PTBB/100 12 tabling for 8 hours a day 5 days a week 52 weeks of the year.

I can't even imagine raising 34% of hands. What hands are you 3betting? Any PP?

[/ QUOTE ]

my 3bet range definitely chages from player to player so ic ant really answer this. vs some players in some situations, yeh ill 3 bet any pair. i 3bet a lot of SCs, and Axs-AK sometimes as well. All depends.

Staying sane while doing this would impress me more than winning a lot of money.

Well If you had a normal job, none of that fancy highrolling finance or ruling the jobs, but a normal sit behind a counter or in a callcenter job, then this is heaven ..... assuming you can embrace the variance.

my point is that it would be almost impossible to play your best every day for 8 hrs per day on 12 tables.

true, but lets face it, even playing your c-game is most likely not worse than breakeven, and for those spots having rakeback is ze pwn.

But the tricky part is keeping your dicipline ... I can't do it consistently month after month, that is for sure

Lol. I have decided that if online poker goes busto, I'm becoming a mid limit LHE 15/30, 30/60 balla at CB. The games are so damn soft there. I play with 15/30 regs at 6/12 on Sundays and I'm like, r u serious?

I've had multiple stints as a temp worker for L.A. County. Compared to the things I had to do there, poker is like looking in the mirror while Scarlett Johanson sucks your balls. For almost 5 months all I did was open mail and put it in piles, for $9.00/hr. At another assignment, I put labels into plastic holders. There were thousands of these little things. I was ready to strangle myself.
