First time I've seen this - some good advice.

I agree that many new players seems to be too keen to multitable from the off.

It also seems that many new players are obsessed with bonus chasing.

There is no substitute for experience, but one has to make the time to learn from that experience

maybe i misunderstood but is this post directed to LIMIT poker?

i get this feeling because of the initial analogy of the best limit poker player sitting at a table of 9 players etc.....

i tried downloading what i thought was it but it didnt work for my powerbook g4.

anyone have a link where i can DL it for mac or know of a program i can use to DL it with mac and run it?

Not really the place for this. You could probably ask in the Site Software, Skins, and Networks forum. As far as I know, I have heard of them working on PS software for mac but I'm not sure if it's up yet or what mac models it will work on. Also you can check on the PS site FAQs and/or e-mail their support.

thanks

Also bang up post.

I have noticed a SHARP decline in my play since that fateful day on Stars where I opened up more than one table. Soon I was playing 6-8 .50 - 1.00 and dumping BB like you've never seen. I usualy play one or at most 3 tables, but only if I find a REALLY good reason to like 60%+ players per flop on stars or like 35%+ on Full Tilt because they really squeek there. I really figured out how awful I was recently and have been in leak plug mode for the last few weeks.

Anyhow, everyone who plays low limit poker should be reading this post, really brings you back to Earth about poker and does a good job of blunting the romantic steriotypes we all have for pro poker player from television and Rounders.

After all ANYONE can win. And then.....nada.
