Hi Seabeast

I am Baldnbroke. I was just now alerted that my name was mentioned here, and I just want to let you know that the disconnection was not intentional. I remember the hand, and I actually folded that hand after thinking about it for a long while. As you can see, the laydown was a little tough. I believed you were flashing your hand, that is why I said well played. I wouldn't know how to fake a disconnection that still lets you see your opponents cards, nor would I ever want to do this.
I was notified by party poker of my suspicious behaviour, but since I have no prior history of abusing the disconnection protection they have let me keep the DP. Also, I had repeated disconnections that night before I finally quit early on the session. I understand you have no reason to believe me, but I can only hope that if we run into each other at the tables in the future, it will confirm that I never do this kind of thing.

I think that you coming forward and explaining the situation goes a lot towards improving your credibility. after reading that post i put a note on you as a dodgy player but i will now remove that.

fwiw, i have been having a lot of problems w my internet recently. my isp sucks big time. and on two occasions i have had ppl abuse me because they thought i was using DP deviously. of course i was not, but its hard to explain that to them at the table.
