ya the bouncers at jimmy'z were f'n [censored]. i try to walk in and the bouncer says "no you can't come in, your dress is awful" i said "i think you are dressed awful and this isn't a dress u french [censored]". then i walk away back to the hotel when i run into one of my norweigen friends who tells me he would try to help me get in. so we walk up to the door and the bouncer once again says i can't come in but my friend says "no no he's with me" so the bouncer says "ok, u can come in". i walk in about 5 feet when 2 bouncers grab me by my jacket and slam my head into the wall. i [censored] hate the french... never again will i come back unless i have to.

board 9595, AK double barrels, black makes a commiting raise, AK folds, black shows 33

black made an instacall on the flop bet too, my read on the 959 flop was something like 77, so his turn raise smelled of something, but it practically commited AK i think?

The trick to get in at 7 am w/ a hotass swedish girl, was to get good2cu to give the bouncer 100 euros.

Yeah I played that hand really poorly. It was probably the hand I messed up most. I had AJ. I usually check that turn, but I talked to Gobboboy and he said that I should double barrel Black because he calls a lot of flops. Also his quick call on flop seemed really weak. I thought I played very well though and just didn't make it to the final table. Oh well. GG and thanks for everyone who rooted me on.

Um...if you just look halfway decent and walk right in like you belong, it's not a problem. If you have a bad attitude against the "French" (esp. when we are in Monaco) it's going to be a little more difficult. Not like there's anything special to see in Jimmy Z anyway, but ocrowe and I had no problem getting past the door dressed pretty casually at 3:30AM. You have to be prepared to make compromises and adjust your attitude when you travel, or you won't feel welcomed anywhere (not just French-speaking countries).
