Default Weak acehigh fold?

Not really any read here besides stats, which are 45/20/1.2 after about a hundred hands.

Party Poker 15/30 (5 handed)

I raise A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the CO, folded to villain in the SB who calls. BB folds.

Flop (5 SB): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Check, bet, raise, call.

Turn (3.5 BB): (2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Check, check

River (3.5 BB): (2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Bet, fold.

looks pretty standard

his turn check is usually a weak hand he wants to showdown, altho maybe he tardchecked a flush. i guess theres some chance he has like a5 with a spade and decided to bet the riv but the pots small

wow is this a really easy fold? I'd definately call this vs a 45/20 but I think I call down too much. how bad is this call?

FWIW, I think it's a spot where I have called down too much as well, but now think it's kinda bad. If he was bluffing on the flop, then why isn't he continuing to bet on the turn, when the scarecards hits? Definitely looks like he has something, that he wants to showdown, but is afraid of being raised.

I also probably call down too much, but, I think you are winning here 50% of the time. A VPIP 45 and this guys could easily have a4 a5 any 4 or 5. And if he was going for the checkraise on the turn then he won one more bet off of you. He could be protecting a low pair also, but, I think unlikley here.

I think it's a good fold, any bluff hand fires the turn most the time.
