Why these dogs aren't required to be certified is beyond me. This is obviously very easy to abuse.

At least we got a trip report out of it.

I know I was critical of you for doing this earlier in this thread (and I still hold my opinion that it is inconsiderate at best), but most of that is just because I like arguing over the internet. In reality, this is a pretty cool trip report, and I am shocked that you actually tried pulling off this stunt while going into Mexico, where the chances of getting screwed by an inefficient and corrupt bureaucracy are far greater.

If you were just going to Mexico though, why didn't you just drive?

ps. Cute Pitty

You did all this to take your dog on vacation?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL...either he moved to Playa del Carmen, or he was lying to us earlier in order to look like less of a scammer:

Props to you Ryan. The inital thread went from outrageous to hilarious (when we found out your "service" dog is a pit pull. But then you back it up with this trip report complete with pictures...I gotta give you credit for your audacity and also for the apparent great behaviour of the mutt in question. Good going.

- pretending to have a disability to get preferential treatment shows a limited grasp of politeness and sensitivity for those who actually are less able.

- responsibility for the dog means you should not be taking international flights if you can't accept the usual method of transporting dogs.

So, either go by ships which allow dogs free roaming, or don't travel where you can't stay close to the dog. or charter a flight.

If your scruples tell otherwise, be my guest. this is just my take on it.

If you get caught you're going to cry when you find out the penalty, I promise.

What if your dog went apechit and pee'd all over and tried to hump the stewardess' leg??

Good luck on explaining that one.

i'm really not worried about this because my dog is very well-mannered, very calm and mellow, and very well potty-trained.

Where have i heard lines like this?

"Oh, she's a darling, would never bite another human being" said shortly before little snuffles rips my hand off.

lol. yes, i would be much less inclined to consider this if i wasn't so confident that my dog will be very calm and not at all annoying.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dog owners are completely clueless to how their dog really acts. I cant go for a trail run without running into at least one [censored] with his dog off or on a long leash that claims "oh my dog is super friendly" often while the [censored] thing is mauling my dog. Parents are the same way "oh my little billy is such an angel" when the reality is the kid is a little [censored].

People suck, and you arent any different. Congrats on your scam tho

your final trip report is clearly one of the best posts in the history of the site, the rest of the thread is completely lame except for your other posts
